This fall our leaders continue to connect with kids. Zoom Clubs, texts, phone calls, and social distance visits are just a few ways we keep growing friendships and showing God's love to our Young Life Friends. We can't wait to be together again in person, but until then we will see you on Zoom!
Having Fun at Zoom Club with our Friends!
Young Life Capernaum Greater Seattle is a ministry that is dedicated to giving teens and young adults with disabilities a place to belong, a chance to be valued, and an opportunity to engage in meaningful friendships. Our desire is to convey to ALL kids with disabilities that they are loved and valued by us and by God.
After spending a few years learning under Nick Palermo, the founder of Young Life Capernaum, Blaine Clyde moves back to his home state to start Young Life Capernaum Greater Seattle.
As of today, we have an active outreach presence at six different high schools in the greater Seattle area: Ballard, Ingraham, Nathan Hale, Roosevelt, Shorecrest, and Shorewood.
Our goal is to reach out to as many of these kids as possible and remind them that they are valued, loved, and welcomed.
Although we hope every kid has a chance to come to one of our fun events, we are aware that our greatest impact is made within relationships, not events. With every passing day, we strive to get to know the specific name of more and more kids in our area.
Volunteer your time to work directly with young people.
Support the staff and leaders as part of the local adult committee.
Give resources to start or sustain the financial foundation at the local or national level.
